Plataforma Europea por la Paz en Colombia

Nosotros, mujeres y hombres colombianos, y de distintas nacionalidades, así como residentes y ciudadanos europeos, en nuestro propio nombre o como representantes de organizaciones sociales y políticas, preocupados por la situación colombiana, en especial por el conflicto armado que durante décadas ha golpeado a ese país, manifestamos que:

1. Entendemos el conflicto armando en Colombia como el resultado de factores sociales, económicos y políticos que han afectado la sociedad colombiana históricamente, y que luego de varias décadas ha llegado a un nivel de degradación tal que hoy tiene al país en medio de una de las peores crisis humanitarias del mundo.

We, women and men of Colombian and different nationalities, as well as European residents and citizens, speaking for ourselves or as representatives of social and political organisations, concerned about the Colombian situation and in particular about the armed conflict which has stricken Colombia for decades, declare that:

1. We understand the armed conflict in Colombia to be the result of social, economic and political factors which have affected Colombian society historically and which, after several decades, has reached a level so base that it now has the country in the midst of one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

Nous, femmes et hommes de Colombie et d’autres pays, citoyens et habitants de l’Europe, faisons, en notre nom ou en tant que représentants d’organisations sociales et politiques préoccupées par la situation en Colombie et en particulier par le conflit armé qui fait rage dans le pays depuis des décennies, le constat suivant :

1. Le conflit armé en Colombie résulte à nos yeux de facteurs sociaux, économiques et politiques qui affectent historiquement la société colombienne. Après plusieurs décennies, ce conflit a causé tellement de ravages dans le pays que celui-ci est plongé actuellement dans l’une des pires crises humanitaires au monde.

Wir, Frauen und Männer aus Kolumbien und anderen Ländern sowie Bewohner und Bürger Europas, stellen in unserem Namen bzw. als Vertreter sozialer und politischer Organisationen, die über die Lage in Kolumbien und insbesondere den bewaffneten Konflikt besorgt sind, unter dem das Land seit Jahrzehnten leidet, Folgendes fest:

1. Unserer Auffassung nach ist der bewaffnete Konflikt in Kolumbien auf soziale, wirtschaftliche und politische Faktoren zurückzuführen, die seit langer Zeit auf die kolumbianische Gesellschaft einwirken. Nach mehreren Jahrzehnten hat der Konflikt das Land so sehr zermürbt, dass es sich heute inmitten einer der schwersten humanitären Krisen der Welt befindet.

Εμείς, οι γυναίκες και οι άνδρες από την Κολομβία και από άλλες χώρες καθώς και οι κάτοικοι και οι πολίτες της Ευρώπης, διαπιστώνουμε για λογαριασμό μας αλλά και ως εκπρόσωποι κοινωνικών και πολιτικών οργανώσεων που εκφράζουν την ανησυχία τους για την κατάσταση στην Κολομβία, και ειδικά για την ένοπλη σύρραξη υπό την οποία υποφέρει η χώρα εδώ και δεκαετίες, τα εξής:

1. Κατά την άπο ψή μας, η ένοπλη σύρραξη στην Κολομβία έγκειται σε κοινωνικούς, οικονομικούς και πολιτικούς παράγοντες που για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα επιδρούν στην κολομβιανή κοινωνία. Μετά από πολλές δεκαετίες, η σύγκρουση αυτή έχει συνθλίψει τη χώρα σε τέτοιο βαθμό, ώστε σήμερα να βρίσκεται εν μέσω μιας από τις πιο δεινές ανθρωπιστικές κρίσεις του πλανήτη.
